이용약관
버전 1.2 변경 사항: 직접 배포되는 Chrome 동반 구성의 범위를 명확히 하고, Mac 대화의 앱 전환 시 종료 동작을 실제 앱과 일치시켰습니다. 버전 1.1에서는 제3조에 청약철회 조항을 추가했습니다. 이용자에게 불리한 변경은 없습니다.
제1조 (목적)
이 약관은 비크(Beek)(이하 "회사")가 제공하는 macOS·iOS·iPadOS·watchOS용 버녁(영문 표기 Bunyek)과 이에 포함되거나 연동되는 공유·위젯·Safari 확장 및 별도 직접 배포판의 Chrome 확장(이하 "앱")의 이용 조건 및 절차, 회사와 이용자의 권리·의무를 정함을 목적으로 합니다.
제2조 (라이선스의 성격)
- 이용자는 대금을 1회 지급함으로써 구매 시점의 앱을 계속 사용할 수 있는 사용권을 부여받습니다. 구독료나 번역 횟수에 따른 추가 과금은 없으며, 업무 목적의 사용도 포함됩니다.
- 본 사용권의 이용자, 설치 가능한 기기와 가족 공유 범위는 구매에 사용한 스토어 및 Apple의 미디어 서비스 이용약관을 따릅니다. 가족 공유를 실제 제공하지 않는 배포에서는 가족 공유 권리가 별도로 발생하지 않습니다.
- Mac App Store를 통해 구매한 경우, 설치 및 이용 범위(가족 공유 포함)는 Apple의 미디어 서비스 이용약관을 따릅니다.
- 본 사용권은 앱의 소유권 이전이 아니며, 회사는 앱에 대한 모든 지식재산권을 보유합니다.
- 이용자는 앱을 역컴파일·역설계하거나, 재배포·재판매·대여할 수 없습니다.
- 1회 구매는 무기한의 신규 기능 추가, 모든 미래 운영체제 지원 또는 무기한의 기술 지원을 보장하는 것은 아닙니다.
제3조 (구매 및 환불)
- Mac App Store를 통해 구매한 경우, 결제·환불은 Apple의 정책과 절차에 따릅니다. 환불 요청은 Apple(reportaproblem.apple.com)에 직접 하셔야 하며, 회사는 이를 대행할 수 없습니다.
- 청약철회: 「전자상거래 등에서의 소비자보호에 관한 법률」에 따라 이용자는 구매일부터 7일 이내에 청약을 철회할 수 있습니다. 다만 같은 법 제17조 제2항에 따라 디지털 콘텐츠의 제공이 개시된 경우에는 청약철회가 제한될 수 있습니다. 유료 앱 본체는 App Store를 통해서만 판매되므로, 청약철회 및 환불의 접수·심사·지급은 Apple의 절차(reportaproblem.apple.com)에 따라 이루어집니다. 별도 직접 배포되는 Chrome 확장과 Native Messaging 호스트는 앱과 함께 쓰는 무상 동반 구성으로 별도 판매 상품이 아닙니다.
- 앱이 표시된 기능을 제공하지 못하는 등 회사의 귀책으로 정상적인 이용이 불가능한 경우, 이용자는 위 기간과 무관하게 환불을 요청할 수 있습니다. 이 경우 아래 연락처로 알려 주시면 회사가 Apple에 대한 환불 절차를 안내하고 필요한 확인 자료를 제공합니다.

제4조 (동작 환경 및 제공 범위)
- 앱 본체의 최소 환경은 macOS 15.0, iOS·iPadOS 18.0, watchOS 11.0입니다. Safari 확장 자체는 본체와 같은 최소 운영체제에 설치되지만 선택 번역 실행은 macOS 또는 iOS 26.0 이상을 요구하며, 구버전에서는 지원 버전 안내를 표시합니다. 별도 직접 배포판의 Chrome 기능도 macOS 26.0 이상을 요구합니다.
- 번역 기능은 Apple이 지원되는 운영체제에 제공하는 온디바이스 번역 기능에 의존합니다. 최초 사용 또는 새 언어 사용 시 운영체제가 언어팩 다운로드를 요청할 수 있으며, 이는 Apple이 제공하는 기능입니다. 앱은 별도의 클라우드 번역 엔진을 제공하지 않습니다.
- Apple의 정책 변경이나 운영체제 업데이트로 해당 기능의 사양이 변경될 경우, 앱의 동작이 영향을 받을 수 있습니다. 회사는 이러한 변경 사항을 인지한 즉시 이용자에게 공지하고 합리적인 범위에서 대응합니다.
- 앱은 사용자가 요청할 수 있는 번역 횟수를 별도로 제한하지 않습니다. 다만 지원 언어, 언어팩 설치 여부, 운영체제의 자원 상태 및 Apple 플랫폼 기능의 가용성에 따라 특정 번역이 제공되지 않을 수 있습니다.
- 카메라 번역은 실시간 영상 스캔이 아니라 사용자가 촬영하거나 선택한 정지 사진 한 장을 처리합니다. iPhone·iPad·Mac 대화와 Watch 연속 대화는 앱이 화면에 열린 동안만 동작하며, 잠금 또는 앱 전환 시 마이크와 대화를 종료합니다. Watch 음성 번역은 페어링된 iPhone이 필요하고, 긴 녹음은 iPhone 앱을 전면에 열어야 완료될 수 있습니다.
제5조 (번역 결과에 대한 책임)
- 기계 번역의 특성상 결과가 부정확하거나 부자연스러울 수 있습니다. 회사는 번역 결과의 정확성·완전성·특정 목적 적합성을 보증하지 않습니다.
- 법률·의료·계약·금융 등 정확성이 중요한 문서에 대해서는 반드시 전문가의 검수를 받으시기 바랍니다. 이러한 용도로 번역 결과를 사용하여 발생한 손해에 대해 회사는 책임지지 않습니다.
제6조 (개인정보)
앱은 번역 내용이나 사용 정보를 회사에 자동 전송·수집하지 않습니다. 다만 이용자가 지원 이메일로 직접 문의하면 발신 주소·문의 본문·첨부파일은 문의 처리 목적으로 개인정보처리방침에 따라 처리될 수 있습니다. 상세한 내용은 개인정보처리방침을 따릅니다.
제7조 (책임의 제한)
- 회사는 천재지변, Apple 또는 제3자 서비스의 장애 등 회사의 통제를 벗어난 사유로 발생한 손해에 대해 책임을 지지 않습니다.
- 회사의 손해배상 책임은 관련 법령이 허용하는 범위 내에서 해당 이용자가 앱 구매를 위해 실제로 지급한 금액을 한도로 합니다.
- 본 조항은 회사의 고의 또는 중대한 과실로 인한 손해에는 적용되지 않습니다.
제8조 (약관의 변경)
회사는 필요한 경우 이 약관을 변경할 수 있으며, 변경 시 시행일 7일 전(이용자에게 불리한 변경은 30일 전)부터 본 페이지에 공지합니다. 이미 구매한 이용자의 영구 사용권은 약관 변경에 의해 축소되지 않습니다.
제9조 (준거법 및 관할)
이 약관은 대한민국 법령에 따라 해석되며, 분쟁에 관한 소송은 「민사소송법」에 따른 관할 법원에 제기합니다.

License and permitted use
- A one-time payment grants the right to continue using the version of Bunyek purchased. There is no subscription or per-translation charge, and business use is permitted.
- The eligible user, devices, and any Family Sharing rights follow the terms of the store used for purchase. Family Sharing does not arise where the distribution does not actually provide it.
- The license does not transfer ownership of the app. Reverse engineering, redistribution, resale, and rental are prohibited. A one-time purchase does not guarantee unlimited future features, support for every future operating system, or technical support forever.
Purchases, withdrawal, and refunds
- The paid app is sold only through the App Store. Apple receives, reviews, and pays refunds; requests must be submitted through reportaproblem.apple.com. Beek cannot issue an App Store refund directly but can explain the process and provide supporting information.
- Under Korea's Electronic Commerce Act, a user may withdraw a purchase within seven days, although withdrawal may be restricted once delivery of digital content has begun. If the app cannot be used normally because it fails to provide advertised functionality for a reason attributable to Beek, the user may request a refund regardless of that period.
- The separately distributed Chrome extension and Native Messaging host are free companion components for use with the app and are not separately sold products.
Requirements and service limitations
- Minimum versions for the main app are macOS 15, iOS/iPadOS 18, and watchOS 11. Safari's selected-text translation and the separately distributed Chrome feature require macOS or iOS 26 as applicable. Older supported systems display a version requirement instead.
- Translation depends on Apple's on-device Translation framework. A first use or new language may require an Apple language-pack download. There is no separate cloud translation fallback. Availability can vary with the language, installed assets, operating system, and device resources.
- Camera translation processes one still photo rather than continuous live video. iPhone, iPad, and Mac conversations and continuous Watch conversations work only while the relevant app screen is open. Watch voice translation requires the paired iPhone, and a long recording may require the iPhone app to remain in the foreground.
- Machine translation can be inaccurate or unsuitable for a particular purpose. Legal, medical, contractual, financial, or other high-stakes content must be reviewed by a qualified professional.

Support accepts app-problem reports, purchase or refund-process questions, general feedback, and feature suggestions at sont0729@gmail.com. See the support page for basic troubleshooting. Support does not certify translation accuracy, and the one-time license does not promise indefinite updates or support.
Bunyek does not automatically send translation content or usage information to Beek. A support email and its attachments are handled under the Privacy Policy.
Liability, changes, and governing law
To the extent permitted by law, Beek's liability is limited to the amount the affected user actually paid for the app. This limitation does not apply to Beek's intentional misconduct or gross negligence. Material changes are announced on this page at least seven days before they take effect, or 30 days before an adverse change. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and disputes are brought before a court with jurisdiction under Korean civil procedure law.
